I have been a consultant vascular surgeon for eight years, with a NHS practice based at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. I completed a vascular and endovascular fellowship at University California Davies Medical Centre 2015-2016, immediately prior to taking up my consultant post in Leeds.
My surgical expertise include venous disease, thoracic outlet syndrome, vascular access, carotid disease, peripheral arterial disease, aortic surgery and resuscitative surgery. I have published several book chapters and papers in specific areas related to these topics.
At Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust I am resuscitative surgery lead, deputy training programme director for vascular surgery for Yorkshire and Humber and clinical champion for the armed forces community. I design and direct a number of regional vascular surgery, resuscitative surgery and human factor courses for trainee surgeons.
