Dr Claire McCormack

Dr McCormack is a local GP with a specialist interest in dementia. She gained her medical degree at Leeds University, qualifying in 1997 and went on to work in a number of hospital posts including a year on a care of the elderly ward.
In 2003 she became a GP and has been a partner for over 10 years.

Dr McCormack studied for a Postgraduate Certificate in dementia studies at Bradford University, passing with distinction in 2021.
She works in memory clinic at Bradford District Care Trust and has gained considerable experience in diagnosing and managing dementia in the last three years.

Dr McCormack advocates holistic dementia care in the community and is the clinical dementia lead for her practice population.

In her spare time she loves yoga, cross fit and walking her dog.
